Sarah Got Married!

On May 7th one of my dearest friends, Sarah, got married. She had waited a long time for this day to come, and it was so exciting to see her so incredibly happy. She got married at the Edgefield Hotel (one of the many beautiful McMenamins sites) in a sweet little ceremony followed by wonderful food, drinks, and dancing. The ceremony had some classic "Sarah" touches including a beautifully subtle Lord of the Rings processional, and a Star Wars "Imperial March" recessional. Haha! She's such a nerd...and that's part of why I love her so much! The reception was donned with Japanese flair including paper cranes and pink cherry blossoms. Sarah has been on two English-teaching stints in Japan over the years and has always loved Eastern culture. Her and K.C. honeymooned in Egypt. I can't wait to hear all about it :)
